It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vida V. Schoonover of Ashland, Ohio, who passed away on August 17, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Viers and Mildred Viers; her husband George Schoonover; her sister Vina; her daughter Kim; and her grandsons, Aaron and David.
She is survived by: her children, Rose Gemmel (Rob), Dean Schoonover (Karen), Julie Hunt (Don) and Dan Schoonover (Lisa); her grandchildren, Holly, Summer, Travis, Amber, Jonathan, Justin, Joshua, Keeley, Mark, Kate, Nick and Bella; and her sister Irene. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and a lifetime of friends.
