He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Strouse and Iva Jane Strouse; his pet Ginger; and his brothers, Clarence, Dennis and Samuel Strouse.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Strouse of Ashland; his children, Susan Barcus (Dan) of Houston, Karen Cook of Hayesville, Beverly Stewart (Mark) of Ravenna and Timothy Strouse (Lee) of North Ridgeville; his grandchildren, Sarah Filip (Marty) of Fate, Chris Barcus of Houston, Kyle Cook of Hayesville, Monica Pitts (Andrew) of Indianapolis, Meredith Stanhope (Kyle) of Eaton Rapids, Kelsey Strouse of North Ridgeville and Zachary Strouse of North Ridgeville; and his sister Mary Grube (Vance) of DeSoto, Kansas.. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
