He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Hawks and Nellie Hawks (Echelberger); and his brother James F. Hawks. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Wolf; his sons, Tom Hawks (Irene Lopez) of Gambier, Greg Hawks of Edmund and Douglas Hawks (Candy) of Stewart; his stepdaughter Jackie L. Rupp of Stuart, Florida.; his grandchildren, Lincoln Hawks, Spencer Hawks, Lainey Hawks, Sabina Hawks, Anderson Hawks, Piper Hawks, Marlo Hawks, Slade Hawks, Finley Hawks, Eric Rupp, Alex Rupp and Ryan Rupp; and his siblings, Holly Hawks-Taylor (Robert) of Ashland and Steve Hawks (Donna) of Ashland.
