She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Keith Smelker (Pete) and Neva Price Smelker; her children, Sherry Garling (Gordon) of Ashland, Shelly Sandford (Tom) of Sturgis, MI and Gregory Miner of Luzerne, MI; her son-in-law Scott Bowles of Highlands Ranch, CO; her sisters, Linda Allen of Ionia, MI and Brenda Williams (Don) of Coconut Creek, FL; her brothers-in-law, Jack Miner (Shirley) of Hastings, MI and Tim Miner (MaryEllen) of Holland, MI; her daughter Sonja Bowles; and her brother Howard Smelker. She was also cherished by 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
