She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold H. Bransteter and Verda E. Bransteter; her husband Jeffery L. South; her brother Richard Rader (Jean); her brother-in-law Steve South; and her cousins, Mary Lou Depler and Barbara Hower.
She is survived by: her daughter Shelley Sponsler (Jeff Tonemacher) of Palm Springs, California; her grandson Malcom Fried of Irving, Texas; her niece Pam Erskine (Curt) of California; her siblings-in-law, Jim South (Cheryl), Joel South (Sally), Tim South (Sheila) and Nancy Boyd (Ron); her sister Clara Pummell of Mansfield, Ohio.; her close friends, Jim Harlan (Sara), Scott Clark (Sharon), Terry Hysong (Brenda) and Faith Buskirk; and her daughter Teri Murdock.
