She was predeceased by: her parents, Tolbert Abner and Esther Abner; her stepfather Slim Bernard; and her siblings, Jill Neihard, Geraldine "Gerry" Morgan, Donald Bernard and Dallas Abner.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Keith Thomas of Ashland; her son Donald K. "Donnie" Thomas II of Ashland; and her sisters, Theda Rousch of Tipp City and Augusta Blair of Miamisburg.
