He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Gunther and Norris Gunther (Carver); his son William Gunther; his great grandchild Kendall Stump; and his siblings, Robert L. Gunther, Roger Gunther, Ivalee Carter, Naomi Box, Ruby LaSalle, Ethel Figard, Joan Castano and Nancy Schrecengost.
He is survived by: his wife Lynnette Gunther (Lynne); his children, Brenda Horrocks (John) of Middleburg Hts, OH, Richard Gunther (Sharen) of Wintersville, OH, Robert Gunther (Nikki) of Brunswick, OH and Kristy Gunther of Ashland, OH; and his siblings, Ross Gunther of Apex, NC, Sandy Hammond of Kinsman, OH and Jeanette Rossi of Warren, OH.. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren.
