He was predeceased by: his parents, Nels Johnson and Florence Johnson; and his siblings, Betty DeWalt (Sam), Peg Williams (Brownie), William, Gene and James Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Vicki Johnson of Ashland; his sons, Eric M. Johnson of Ashland and Gene Johnson (Sara) of Lewis Center; his grandchildren, Lauren Niedermier (Howard) of Howard, Matt Johnson (Rachel) of Lucas and Steve Johnson of Ashland; and his siblings, Pat Grant (Stan) of Lodi and Timothy Johnson (Marilyn) of Lucas. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
