He is survived by: his wife Shirley Bowers of Ashland; his children, Janice Bowers of Delaware and Dennis Bowers (Trish) of Columbus; his grandson Sergejs Bowers (Sydney) of Columbus; his great grandchild Penelope Bowers of Columbus; his brother Harold Bowers of Castle Rock, Colorado; and his sister-in-law Helen Bowers of Akron.

Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dickey Church of the Brethren (1509 Township Rd 655, Ashland, OH 44805). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
