He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger W. Kerr and Opal Kerr (Bryan); his sister Linda Kerr; and his siblings-in-law, Patricia Rogers and Wesley Canfield.

He is survived by: his wife Peg (Canfield); his sons, Robert (Ashley) and Tom (Nicole); his grandchildren, Macy Kerr, Grayden Kerr, Hadley Kerr, Tyler Kerr, Tessa Kerr, Elizabeth McFalls, Olivia McFalls and Tristan Miller; his siblings, Bob Kerr (Cindy), Larry Kerr (Mitzi), Joyce Herman (Dave), Jan Carman (Ron), Donna Steiner (Russ King) and Peggy Contos; and his siblings-in-law, Doris Campbell (Dave), Shirley Canfield and Denny Canfield (Sue).
