He was predeceased by: his parents, George Brockway and Fairy Brockway; his son Dennis Brockway; and his siblings, Naomi Biddinger and Donald Brockway.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Brockway of Ashland; his children, Deb Markel (Timothy) of Ashland, Douglas Brockway (Kathleen) of Ashland and Dean Brockway (Stephanie) of Shenandoah; and his grandchildren, Shannon Jennings (Jeremy), Sarah Summers (Greg), Sheldon Markel, Nicholas Brockway (Melissa), Erin Brockway (Aaron Gulan), Ryan Brockway (Sarah), Maci Brockway, Kylie Brockway, Cooper Brockway, Joel Brockway (Kristen) and Daniel Brockway (Ashley). He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
