He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Murphy and Jeanie Wilson (Vance). He is survived by: his wife Jenni C. Murphy (Ramey); his sons, Nick Murphy (Jessica) of Pittsburgh, PA and Joe Kilgore of Ashland, OH; his grandsons, Lukas and Jacob Murphy; and his siblings, Steve Murphy, Douglas Murphy (Lucia), Edward Murphy, Allan Murphy (Kathy), Michael Murphy (Dawn), Roxanne Holly, Toni Voigt (John) and Rona Lockwood. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
