He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Julio Mondragon and Barbara Mondragon (McQuillen); his wife Sheila Goon; his children, Terry Weitzel (Penny) of Bristol, TN. and Chasidy Cooper (Greg) of Mt. Gilead; his grandchildren, Nate Weitzel (Samantha), Jessica Eicher (Benjamin Gannon), Tyler Cooper and Madison Brennstuhl; his great grandchildren, Savannah Newcomer and Camden Weitzel; his siblings, Helen Howe (Ken), Wendie Napier (Dan), Betty Gillispe and Bill Mondragon; his stepmother Shirley Mondragon; and his daughter Heather Mondragon.

Due to COVID -19 there will be private services for immediate family at Heyl Funeral Home.
