He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Keys and Gladys Keys; his great-grandparents, Colonel John Canon and George Shillito; his son Gary Keys; and his son-in-law Dusty Stafford.
He is survived by: his former wife Mary Jane Robinson; his wife Ethel; his children, Randy (Cindy Keys), Robin Vanetta Stafford of Peachtree Corners and Dennis (Linda Keys); his grandson Kyle (Kimberly Vanetta); his great grandchildren, Kendall and Chase Vanetta of Johns Creek, Georgia.; his grandson Jeremy Vogel; his great grandchildren, Lucas and Brody Vogel of Ashland; and his brother Richard (Peggy Keys) of Zanesville.
