He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Powell and Gladys Powell (Long); his son David Powell; and his brothers, Ray, Don and David.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Jean Franklin; his children, Susan Wise of Ashland and Keith Powell of Mansfield; his grandchildren, Stephanie Martin (Brian), Kyla Reynolds (Stephen), David Powell (Erin) and Jeffery Powell; his great grandchildren, Justin, Triana, Lily Powell, Jaxson, Henry Reynolds, Zachary and Ciera Lawson; and his great great grandchildren, Lucas Workman and Zaelyn Powell.
The family has asked in lieu of flowers that anyone wishing to make a memorial donation in Richard's name please donate to the Hospice or Charity of your choice.
