She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Shafer and Verda Frontz Shafer Sr.. She is survived by: her husband Robert McKown; her son Aaron Green of Greenwich; her stepsons, Mike McKown of Ashland, Bill McKown of Columbus and Tom McKown of New York; and her brother Frank Shafer Jr. of Florida.
