It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis J. Sparks of Ashland, Ohio, born in Akron, Ohio, who passed away on February 3, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest Sparks and Juanita Sparks; her siblings, Forrest Jr., Geraldine, Janice and Carolyn; her grandson Jeremy; and her great grandchild Caroline.
She is survived by: her close friend JoAnn Taskey; her children, Russell Watts (Chris) and Rita West (John); her grandchildren, Zach Perry (Amber), Michael Watts (Taylor), Eric Watts, Alyssa Carpenter (Kristian) and Johnny West; her great grandchildren, Bentli, Lincoln, Braxton, Waylon, Lailah, Aria, Kinslee and Jayson; and her nephews, Ted Aukerman (Patti) and David Aukerman (Melody). She is also survived by many cousins; and many lifelong friends.
