She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Burke and Ruby Burke (Waldron); her husband Calvin Leon Reese; and her son Benjamin Slanker. She is survived by: her daughter Peggy Wolford of Georgia; her niece Becky Morrow of South Carolina; and her nephew Carl Morrow of Ohio. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
