He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin A. Schaeg and L. Pearl Schaeg (Mattingley); his wife Dixie Lee Schaeg (Winebrenner); and his brothers, David and Robert.
He is survived by: his daughter Michelle Willis of Ashland; his stepdaughters, Peggy Lee Dillon of Texas and Robin Baughman (Billy) of Ashland; and his siblings, Margie Snyder (Ralph) of Pennsylvania, Terry Schaeg (Barb) of Ashland and Dwight Schaeg (Cathy) of Ashland. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren along with several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made in Orval's memory to Heyl Funeral Home to help defray costs.
