She is survived by: her husband Watson Poole Carpenter of Ashland; her children, David Carl Getz of Ashland and Darla June Vansickle (Dan) of Marion; her grandchildren, Ben, David (Jessica), Evan, Dawn, Nathan, Aaron (Tiffany) and Travis (Jessica); her great grandchildren, Kaia, Skyla, Hannah, Brycen, Carly, Ethan, Jackson, Benny, Brittany, Koby, Kolton, Alaina, Addison and Owen; her stepchildren, Denny Carpenter, Watson Carpenter Jr., Robert Carpenter, Kenneth "Randy" Carpenter and Alecia Hunter; her sister Leola Stepp of Ashland; and her brother-in-law Jim Getz (Karen) of Ashland. She is also survived by numerous step-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
