She was predeceased by: her parent Lorrine Thomas; her brother Michael Yocum; her grandson Drevon; and her nephew Chris Yocum. She is survived by: her daughters, Aretha Galloway (Gerald "Wayne"), Priscilla Haney (Wash), Hattie Williams and Latasha Williams; her stepdaughter Chloe Williams; her grandchildren, Von, Javonte, Mercedes, Gerald, Jr., Tiara, Jack, Dashawn, Deajah, Destiny, Natayah, Shanaya and Elicia; her half-brother Larry Yocum (Lorie); her siblings-in-law, Elizabeth Barne and Robert Williams; her nieces, Leticia Yocum and Tabecca VanDyke; her close friend Phillip Skeete; and also, Glen Chenault and Darlene Hagan. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
