She was predeceased by: her parents, J. P. Hiner and Edith Hiner; her husband Richard W. "Dick" Forbes; her grandson David Forbes; and her siblings, Betty Carnahan (Ken) and Hank Hiner (Betty "Liz") of Ashland, Ohio..
She is survived by: her children, Karen Taffin (Phil) of Mount Vernon, Michelle Drugan (Bob) of Ashland, Daniel Forbes (Dawn) of Ashland, Robert Forbes (Carol) of Nova and Thomas Forbes (Rhonda) of Perrysville; and her brother Donald Hiner (Jerrie) of Sebring. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren.
