He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Manuel and Orpha Ethel Moore; and his siblings, Thomas, Owal, Oley Lee, Jack, Robert, Melvin Moore, Doris Jean and Anna Mildred.

He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Jean Moore; his children, Leslie Davina Sowl and Marvin Dwayne Moore (Laura); and his brother Arley F. Moore. He is also survived by six grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The Gentiva Foundation.
