He is survived by: his mother Carol DeVan of Ashland; his wife Rita DeVan of Ashland; his daughter Melissa Xox of Columbus, Michigan; his granddaughters, Caelynn Craine of Waterford and Milanna Xox of Columbus, Michigan; his great grandchild Ryan Bloch; his siblings, Karen Salyer (Chip) of Glenmont and Bill DeVan (Terry) of Perrysville; his brother-in-law Ed Amend (Brenda) of Ashland; his nieces, Tracy Henthorn (Mike) of Ashland, Jennifer Baker (Gary) of Shelby, Sara Salyer of Glenmont and Eliza Jenkins (Tommy) of Ashland; and his nephew Ezra Amend (Missy) of Jeromesville.
