It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn J. Hobson of Ashland, Ohio, born in New London, Ohio, who passed away on December 1, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jane Ux (Smallsreed) and Isaac "George" Ux; her husband Ed Hobson; and her grandson Jeremy Godfrey. She is survived by: her children, Karen Winbigler (Stanton) of Ashland, Nancy Godfrey (Kelly) of New London and Joseph Novosielski (Amber) of New London; her grandchildren, Michael Shepherd, Matthew Shepherd, Sara Godfrey, Ashley Novosielski, Jon Godfrey, Samantha Novosielski, Adam Williams, Amy Parker (Abe), Maggie Richey (Aaron), Isaac Price (Paige), Tarah Hoffman (Nick) and Eric Winbigler; her brother John Ux (Cathy); and her cousin Carol Houser. She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren.
