Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Lonnie Cox of Ashland, Ohio, born in Craigsville, West Virginia, who passed away at the age of 81, on September 13, 2021. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lewis Cox and Janet Cox; his grandparents, Joe and Emma Cox; his wife Mary Wilson; his children, Tim Cox (Tammy) of Orrville, Beckie Long (Matt) of Ashland, Teresa Cochran of Ashland and Mary Lou Eick (Adam) of Jeromesville; his grandchildren, Breannon Keller, Kaylee Cox, Brandi Keith, Ashley Crum, Todd Beeman, Kristy Berkshire (Lonnie), Jennifer Blough (Cody Reeder), Faith Long, Robert Myers (Becca), Rhannon Doretich (Mike) and Reilly Kocab (Jake); his brothers, Dave Cox of Goose Creek and Randle Cox of Amesville; his cousin Donnie Williams of Texas; and his aunts and uncles, Denny Cox, John Cox, Billy Cox, Bobby Cox, Ettive Marshall, Winnive Bevins and Thelma Hammons. He was also cherished by Thirteen great grandchildren.
At the request of the family it is asked that anyone attending the visitation or funeral services please wear a mask to protect family members that may be at risk.
