With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Laura M. Hickey of Ashland, Ohio, born in Oberlin, Ohio, who passed away on June 27, 2022 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Oral C. Steffen; her husband Dennis; her children, Jeff Hickey and Debbie Stewart; her son-in-law Jeff Martin; her great grandchild Elise Bell; her siblings, Ervin Steffen and Ruth Jacobs; and her parents-in-law, Delora Steffen, John Jacobs, Mary, John Bonfiglio, Ruth, Brooks Ringler, Don and Helen Hickey.
She is survived by: her children, Tim Hickey (Peg), Cliff Hickey, Linda Bromley (Mike), Cindy Martin (Jeff), Nancy Spencer (Wayne), Tom Hickey (Kelly) and Lisa Kerr; her children-in-law, Lila Hickey and Bill Stewart; and her parents-in-law, Paul Hickey (Mary Lou) and Patricia Mumaw. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 4 great, great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations can be given in Laura's name to Hospice of North Central Ohio, Brethren Care, Saint Edwards Catholic Church or donor's favorite charity.
