He is survived by: his wife Sherry James of Ashland; his children, Ashley Keller (Nick) of St. Paul, Minnesota, Larry L. James Jr. (Brandi) of Ashland, Bradley James (Melissa) of Ashland and Brock Martin of Mansfield; his brothers, Brian James (Sharon), Jeffrey James and Thomas James (Kimberly); and his sister-in-law Bette James. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
