He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Figley (Sparks) and Russell Figley; his siblings, Geraldine Winter, Elizabeth Lorene Diehl and Gordon Lyle Figley; and his granddaughter Rachel Somsak.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Figley (King) of Ashland; his children, Kristin Somsak (Les) of Ashland and Russell Figley (Stephanie) of Westerville; his grandsons, Ben Somsak (Cierra) and Andy Somsak; his brother Dennis Figley (Judy Henry) of Olivesburg, OH; and his sister-in-law Ramona Figley of Willard. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
