He was predeceased by: his parents, William Etzwiler and Mary Margaret Etzwiler (Stouffer); his wife Louise Etzwiler; his siblings, Weldon, Larry, Leland Etzwiler and Eileen Deibler; his granddaughters, Jody Cranmore, Norma Paullin and Carol Waddell; his brother-in-law Roger Swainhart; and his son-in-law Dan Cranmore.
He is survived by: his children, Candice Cranmore of Tiffin, Kim Johnston (Cathy) of Phoenix and Kirk Johnston (Mindy) of Ashland; his grandchildren, Jamie Brightbill (Rick) of Ashland, Stacey Cranmore of Georgia, Jeff Johnston of Phoenix and Kari Emmons (Chad) of Ashland; his great grandchildren, Morgan Cranmore, Carter, Clair Brightbill, Hayes, Lyla and Reed Emmons; and his siblings-in-law, Beverly Richardson of Loudonville and Ted Swainhart (Patty) of Perrysville.
