Ekey of Ashland, Ohio, born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on February 5, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, David Ekey and Sarah Ekey (Jones); his wife Shirley Ekey; his father-in-law Delbert Gribben; and his sister-in-law Sue Ekey.
He is survived by: his children, Kristina White (Gavin) of Ashland, Ashley Ritter (B. J.) of Ashland and Brice Ekey (Jen) of Ashland; his grandchildren, Brooklyn, Madisen White, Cooper Ritter, Carter and Colton Ekey; his brother David Ekey of Alabama; and his close friend Paula Hull.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Ashland County Veterans Honor Bus.
