He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Jay and Ethel Horst; and his brother Jim Horst. He is survived by: his wife Linda Horst of Ashland; his children, Beth Hill of Richmond, Julie White of Columbus, Carrie Miller (Brian) of Columbus and David Horst of Ashland; his grandchildren, Megan, Caitlyn, Jimmy Hill, Jacob, Max White, Brandon, Hannah Miller and Cameron Horst; and his sister Shirley Bowers (Ronald) of Ashland.
