He was predeceased by: his father Jack Hendershott; and his stepparents, Sue Hendershott and Jim Welsh. He is survived by: his wife Tammy Kinnan; his daughters, Jessica McQuillen (Michael), Jeanette "Nikki" McBride (Kevin), Jenna Hendershott (Chris) and Johannah Weber (Tim); his grandchildren, Graham, Bella, Kristian, Owen, Ryker, Oliver and Vinny; and his siblings, Joseph Hendershott (Dardi), Jennifer Kinn (Brian), Jonathon Hendershott and Justin Hendershott (Hillary). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.

Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home (313 Center St, Ashland, OH 44805). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
