She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Hess and Helen Hess (Gongwer); and her siblings, Robert Hess (Rosemary) of Ashland and Marjorie Jean Jordan (Richard) of Columbus. She is survived by: her siblings, Ronald Hess of Ashland, Shirley Randall (Robert) of Allentown, PA and Carol Rogers (Terry) of Ashland; her husband Gene Yeater; her children, Dan (Karen) of London, Janene of Ashland, Anita Bauknecht (Russ) of Bay Village, Barry (Melissa) of Grove City and Keith (Heidi) of Ashland; her grandchildren, Ben Yeater (Alene), Leigh Counts (James), Brent Bauknecht (Amy), Kristin Bauknecht, Michelle Mixter (Jeff), Todd Bauknecht (Sidney), Abby, Alyssa Yeater, Laura (Austin Poth), William and Sarah Yeater; and her great grandchildren, Mark, Maria, Joshua, Nathan, Isaac, Sarah Bauknecht, Ashlyn, Lillian, Benjamin, Stratton Yeater, Evalene, Emmy Counts, Avery and Charlotte Mixter.
