It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Shopbell of Ashland, Ohio, who passed away on November 3, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruce Seibert and Edna Wertz Seibert; her spouse Russell Shopbell; and her brother Tom. She is survived by: her daughter Paula Gill (Bobby); her granddaughters, Heather Bahr (Chris) and Vanessa Schmitz (Justin); her great grandchildren, Chase Bahr, Taylor Schmitz and Scarlett Haldeman; her stepchildren, Roger Shopbell (Joyce), Ken Shopbell, Peggy Weaver (Shopbell), Larry Shopbell, Gayle Hencye (Shopbell) and Jodie Shopbell Frazer (Don); her siblings, Judy James (John) and Ted Seibert; and her sisters-in-law, Sarah Seibert (Tom) and Maxine Shopbell (George). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to the rising number of COVID cases, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Pathways Hospice of Ashland (1171 E. Main St., Ashland OH 44805) or Brethren Care (2000 Center St., Ashland OH 44805).
