He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Stancato and Mary Stancato (Muniz); his brother Salvadore "Sam" Stancato; his brother-in-law Tom Yeager; and his nephew John Yeager.
He is survived by: his children, Barb Clow (John) and Jack Stancato, Jr.; his grandchildren, Colby (Cale Morrison), Jaclyn (Jordan Prise), Tanner and Joshua (Alexa Finley); his siblings, Ramona Yeager and Richard Stancato; and his friend Roger Drake. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
