He was predeceased by: his parents, William Steigerwalt and J. Maye Steigerwalt; his former wife Dolores Tucker; his daughter-in-law Gail; and his sisters, Thelma Welsh (C. Jay) and Virginia Spore (Paul).
He is survived by: his children, Douglas Steigerwalt (Karen) of Ashland, Stephen Steigerwalt (Elaine) of Madison, Joel Steigerwalt (Judy) of Saint John, Indiana, Constance Stocksdale (Thomas) of Wooster, Roberta Scarbury (James) of Mansfield and Shelly Steigerwalt of Ashland; and his grandchildren, Clint Steigerwalt (Abby), Erin Steigerwalt (Kevin Atwell), Jill Ettinger (John), Ashlee Henderson, Jessica Williams (Ryheem), Nicholas Stocksdale (Jill), Hannah Carson (Tony), Maggie Cline (Ben), Jacob Scarbury (Cait) and Joshua Scarbury.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home (313 Center St, Ashland, OH 44805). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ashland Brethren in Christ Church (2750 Mifflin Ave, Ashland, OH 44805).
