Homer D. Leiter Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 17, 2023, at the age of 83, Homer D. Leiter of Ashland, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Leiter and Sadie Leiter (Watson); and his siblings, Lewis Leiter, Bernard Leiter and Marie Overly.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Holland-Leiter; his children, Robert Leiter (Dianne) of Ashland, Tami Kanuch (Bob) of Ashland and Betsy Griffith (John) of Ashland; his grandchildren, Chris Holt, Malia Smith (Steven), Bradley Leiter, Nick Kanuch (Erika), Blake Kanuch (Drue), Arieanne Kanuch (Cody Stuckman), J. J. Griffith (Taylor), Alex Griffith (Chelsie) and Katy Griffith; his siblings, Donald Leiter of Maryland, Glorene Shenberger of Columbus and Sara Cole (Clayton) of Georgia; and his sister-in-law Jean Leiter. He is also survived by his 12 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Homer's memory to the American Legion, Harry Higgins Post 88, 1338 Claremont Avenue, Ashland, Ohio 44805 to help with veterans programs.
