It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen L. Powers of Ashland, Ohio, who passed away on November 2, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jonie D. Icenhour and Ivalee G. Icenhour; her husband Arnold Powers; her daughter Peggy Jean Hamblin; and her great grandchildren, Amanda Nicole Workman (Darr) and Jessika Jo Brown.
She is survived by: her son Bill Powers of Ashland; her son-in-law Doug Hamblin of Columbus; her grandchildren, Jamie Powers of Ashland, Melissa Freistuhler (Terry) of Sidney, Penny Brown (Everett McClain) of Shelby, Pamm McDaniel of Ashland, Beth Brokaw (Josh) of Pittsburgh and Karla Picard (Greg) of Franklin, Ohio; and her siblings, Barbara Balsizer of Ashland, Kenny Icenhour of Ashland and Gene Icenhour (Polly) of Ashland. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
