He is survived by: his wife Patricia Shenberger; his son Chip Smith (Kally Brownfield) of Marblehead; his grandson Wyatt Smith; and his siblings, Rose Arter (Bill) of Ashland, Donna Yerian of Ashland and Ralph Smith of Columbus.
