She was predeceased by: her parents, Doyle and Marie (O'Keefe); her husband G. David Emery; her brother James Hammer; and her brother-in-law Dr. William Emery.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Jonathan Emery (Mary Curran) of Chagrin Falls and Stacy Emery of Ashland; her grandchildren, Andrew Emery, Julia Emery, Patrick Emery, Michael Steward and Rachel Steward; her goddaughter Lori Williamson (Rich); and her daughters, Haley Bradfield and Emily Marquette.
