With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George A. Mekoleske of Ashland, Ohio, born in Oberlin, Ohio, who passed away on January 23, 2022 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George J. Mekoleske and Alice Jean Mekoleske; his brother William "Willy" Mekoleske; and his former wife Raydena Ison. He is survived by: his daughter Amber Ison of Ashland; his granddaughters, Riley and Kylee Ison; his siblings, Jeannie Leisure of Polk and Jim Mekoleske of Lancaster; and his nephew Harley Leisure of Polk. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, friends and family.
