He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Sargent and Mildred Sargent (Richards); his wife Barbara Pemberton; and his brothers, Tom and Darryl Sargent.

He is survived by: his children, Tracey Zara (Joe) and Kyle Sargent (Brittany); his grandchildren, Sophie, Nick, Asher and Bayer; his brothers, Doug Sargent (Gia) and Jeff Sargent (Gabby); his brother-in-law Steve Pemberton; and his friend Brad Shealy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Ashland County Council on Aging, 240 E 3rd St, Ashland, OH 44805.
