He was predeceased by: his parents, Odell Yates and Sarah Sellers; and his siblings, Edith Chadwick, Elva Gray Crawford, Nellie Sue Creech, Annie "Ruth" Bracken, Betty Ann Sellers, Berta Barnes, Quentin "Bob" and Stacy Sellers.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Sellers of Ashland; his children, Amy Long (Dan), Katie Smeltzer (Jared) and Rob Sellers (Carolyn); his grandchildren, Zach Long (Lindsay), Taylor Long, Evan Long (Kris Fife), Will Long and Jack Smeltzer (Aubri); and his great grandchildren, Colin, Natalie, Rory Long and Maisie Elizabeth.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home (313 Center St, Ashland, OH 44805). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Radio Program, 508 Center Street, Ashland, Ohio 44805.
