“I, like many athletes, chose to attend and play football at Ashland because of the presence of Fred Martinelli and the people he surrounded himself with as his staff. I was fortunate to be invited by Coach to help with the staff as an undergrad assistant. Working with men like Coach Martinelli, Coach Valentine, Coaches Moose, Ferguson, Brelsford and others helped me and others continue our growth as athletes, but more importantly as men. Thanks Coach, and your family for sharing you with me.”
