He was predeceased by: his wife Donna Janavie Cole; and his sister Ruth Miller. He is survived by: his siblings, David Schmidt (Trudy) of Ashland, Marcelle Bragg of Ashland, Frances Rassmussen of Virginia, Mary Scarbro of Tennessee and Pauline Aulger (Larry) of Ashland. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
