She was predeceased by: her parents, James Mellott and Julia Shaw Mellott; her husband Raymond Carpenter; her daughter Donna Adams; her stepson Lloyd Carpenter; her grandson Lloyd Carpenter, Jr.; her great grandchild Alex Quinn; and her siblings, Clara Weaver, Mary Mellott, Anna Saffle, Edna Connor, Martha McDougal, Wilda Koloski, John, Charles and Raymond Eickleberry.
She is survived by: her daughters, Joyce Thompson (Bill Cahill), Jean Thompson, Brenda Cook and Debra Holstein (Rick); her stepchildren, Charlotte Ferguson (Mike) and Fred Carpenter (Rochelle); and her sister-in-law Geneva Hendershot. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-granddaughters.
