She was predeceased by: her parents, Shafor Meeks and Isabel Meeks (Queen); her sons-in-law, Tony Goon and Bruce Allen; and her brothers-in-law, Rick Paxton and Paul Milem.
She is survived by: her husband Cloyd "Richard" Burns; her children, James Burns (Dee) of Ashland, Susan Sayers (Scott) of Ashland, Anne Goon of Millersburg, John Burns (Karen) of West Salem, Jesse Burns (Pamela) of Logan, Jacob Burns (Melissa) of Logan, Margaret Burns Allen of Albany, Mary Edenfield of Westerville, Kathryn Decker of Utica, Joseph Burns (Sarah) of Ashland and Jonas Burns (Ashley) of Ashland; and her siblings, Virginia Paxton Milem of Sunbury and Bob Meeks (Ellie) of Bismarck, ND. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.
