It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Sterle of Ashland, Ohio, born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on October 21, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sterle and Mary Sterle; his wife Rosemarie Sterle; and his siblings, Loretta Zust, John, Richard, Leonard and Eugene Sterle.
He is survived by: his children, Amy Pate (Lance) of Fort Worth, Mary Dolce (Leonard) of Mansfield, Julie Lile (Keith) of Danville, Kentucky, David Sterle (Catherine) of Medina and Mark Sterle (Lauren) of Wadsworth; his grandchildren, Alex Purtell (Jocelyn), Luke Purtell (Bethany), Jake, Sara Purtell, Josh Dolce, Connor, Natalie Pate and Milania Sterle; and his sisters, Mitzi Loftis of Maryland and Pauline Lukash (Al) of Longview, Texas..
Due to COVID circumstances, a private funeral service will be held in the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home for Ed's children and grandchildren.
