She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen C. DeTienne and Ardis V. DeTienne; her husband Vance Kern; her sons-in-law, Rodney C. Bernhard and Kevin Pilon; her granddaughter Lisa Leasure; and her brother-in-law Al Davidson.
She is survived by: her pet Sweetie; her daughters, Sharon Pilon of Madison, Susan Miller of Madison and Shelley Bernhard (Dave Yochheim) of Ashland; her grandchildren, John Ignat IV (Sherri) of Copperas Cove, Wayne Edward Campbell Jr. of Mansfield, Holly Campbell (Dawn Morrison) of Huntington, Emily Figley (Drew) of Ashland, Elizabeth Durbin (Alec) of Oceanside and Erin Bernhard of Kent; her great grandchildren, Amber, Joey Ignat, Wayne, Mason Campbell and Will Durbin; and her sister Denise "Dede" Davidson of Ashland. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and her dear extended family.
Those who are in attendance will be encouraged to wear a mask as they are able.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Adario United Methodist Church, Cat House Feline Sanctuary, or to Kingwood Center.
